The Regional Australia Institute (RAI) and Commonwealth Bank (CBA) will release data on Thursday 17 November 2022, providing an overview on where metropolitan people are moving to around regional Australia.
The RAI-CBA Regional Movers Index tracks movements between capital cities and regional areas using relocation data from CBA’s ten million customers.
RAI Chief Economist Dr Kim Houghton and Commonwealth Bank Executive General Manager for Regional and Agribusiness Banking Paul Fowler will hold a joint virtual media conference to discuss the latest report, which details movements in the September 2022 quarter.
A media release will be sent out ahead of the media conference. Journalists are invited to register for this virtual media conference before 8:45am Thursday 17 November.
