Barbara Norman is Emeritus Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Canberra. Prior to this, she was the Foundation Chair of Urban and Regional Planning and Director of Canberra Urban and Regional Futures at the University of Canberra, Chair of the ACT Climate Change Council, and a Visiting Fellow at The Australian National University. Her published works include Urban Planning for Climate Change (2022) and Sustainable Pathways for our Cities and Regions (2018). Barbara is also Life Fellow and past national president of the Planning Institute of Australia and a Life Honorary Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in the United Kingdom.
