Magpie Goose

Magpie Goose is a social enterprise creating bright, bold, statement clothing from fabric designed and hand screen printed in remote Aboriginal communities. Their clothing showcases and celebrates Aboriginal culture, while creating new opportunities in remote Australia.

Founder Maggie McGowan was working as a Welfare Rights Lawyer and travelling when she discovered these fabulous textiles. She now uses the web to promote and sell Magpie Goose’s colourful range of clothing to their customers in Australia, and around the world. 

Magpie Goose has created a powerful platform to exhibit Aboriginal art and share rich stories of cultures, seasons, landscapes, ceremony, people and place.
